Dear Parents and Students,
The science fair is here again and now is the time to start off the project on the right foot. This project is a great opportunity to independently work on a topic of your choice. This is a large project that may look to big to accomplish but we break it down into manageable pieces. You have participated in a science fair last year but this year will be a little different.
You will have 9 weeks to complete this project. It is the longest and most involved project many of you have ever done. This lets you investigate in great depth, a project you are interested in. Although the end result is important, the process that gets you there is equally important. You will have several weekly assignments as well as a process journal that you will use to record your thoughts and reflections throughout the process. You will not just be required to do this project but to look at how and why you do what you do. Use the links to the right to find ideas.
Remember not all ideas found online will be appropriate for this project.
